Ke Cheng Ph.D.
Founder​
Dr. Cheng is a Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Veterinary Medicine at UNC-Chapel Hill and NC State University. He is now heading a research program at the interface of regenerative medicine and biomedical engineering. Prior to this position, Ke was an Assistant Professor at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and University of California Los Angeles School of Medicine, where his research focused on stem cells and regenerative medicine in animal models. Ke also served as the director of the stem cell lab for multiple clinical trials including a clinical trial using a patient’s own cardiac stem cells to treat heart disease.

Gangfeng Xu, PhD MBA
Chief Business Officer, Acting CEO
Dr. Gangfeng Xu is a co-founder, Chief Business Officer and acting Chief Executive Officer. He is a seasoned business leader with more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Before joining Xsome, Dr. Xu held senior leadership positions in corporate business development at GenScript and two global pharmaceutical companies, Abbott Laboratories and Wyeth (now Pfizer). At Abbott, Dr. Xu was a Divisional Vice President, Corporate Licensing & Acquisitions, with responsibility for Abbott’s business development activities in China across all business divisions. Prior to Abbott, he was an Assistant Vice President and Head of Licensing & Business Development for Wyeth Asia-Pacific. In this role, he led Wyeth’s company-wide business development efforts for the Asia-Pacific region. Before joining Wyeth, Dr. Xu was an Engagement Manager at Accenture, a leading global consulting and technology company.
Dr. Xu holds a B.S. in biology from Fudan University in China, a Ph.D. in human genetics from University of Utah and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. He completed his postdoctoral research at Harvard Medical School and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Linda Wang, M.D., M.S.
Chief Technology Officer, Head CMC
Linda Wang is a co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Xsome. She has more than 20 years of biopharmaceutical industry experience, including key leadership roles in process development, technology transfer, and manufacturing. Before joining Xsome, she was a Senior Director of MSAT at Skyline Therapeutics for cell and gene therapies. Prior to Skyline, she was a Senior Director of Global Process Development at Wuxi Advanced Therapeutics, where she was responsible for upstream and downstream process, and assay development. Preceding the Senior Director role, Ms. Wang held leadership positions at multiple world-renowned biopharmaceutical companies, including Advanced Bioscience Laboratories, Novartis China, Thermo Fisher, Shire, and Harvard School of Public Health.
Ms. Wang received her M.S. from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in the United States, and her M.D. from Nanjing Medical University in China.

Tania Faulhaber is the Director of Business Operations at Xsome Biotech, Inc. She brings over 30 years experience in finance, accounting and human resources. She has held leadership positions within several organizations in the research sector, including the fields of biotechnology, nanotechnology, pharmaceutical and semiconductor manufacturing. Tania has worked with companies in all stages of their life cycle from startup to global manufacturing, and she is excited to leverage her experience at Xsome Biotech, Inc.
Tania received her B.S. degree in Business Management from West Virginia Wesleyan College in Buckhannon, West Virginia.
